It’s apparently a great time to be in the real estate market if you’re a celebrity in California. Last week we reported that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi sold their Malibu home for $13 million. This week we discover that Robin Williams has listed his 654-acre Villa Sorriso vineyard for sale, and that Matt Damon has just closed on a $15 million dollar resort-like home in the Pacific Palisades.
Sotheby’s has listed Robin Williams vineyard for $35 million.
The villa has 24 acres of vineyards and is located about 80 miles north of San Francisco near Sugarloaf Ridge State Park.
Villa Sorriso sits majestically atop the Mayacama Mountains between Napa and Sonoma Valleys. Portuguese limestone envelopes close to twenty thousand square feet of luxurious living space, including five bedrooms, an oak-paneled library, state of the art home theater, family room, elevator, safe rooms, climate-controlled cellars for art as well as wine, and of course your very own tower and bridge. With summer lasting six months in wine country, you’ll be grateful for the sixty-five foot infinity-edge swimming pool. Surrounded by antique European stone decking, a lawn and multi-tiered sculpture garden, this is an area that promises legendary outdoor events.
