Newport Beach had an interesting July. Volume of condos fell off sharply, while single family volume remained constant. The prices of condos rose by more than 20% while at the same time the prices of single family homes where down about 10%. While the price decrease is alarming it could possibly be attributed to unmeasurable reasons. However, the good news is that prices are still up huge from January 2012, with prices up more than 10% in each product category.
